Screening

Théodore Strawinsky Evening

As part of its cultural activities, the Montreux-Veytaux Library is organising a screening of Marc Bader’s film about Théodore Strawinsky.

Date: 15 September 2025, 6.30 pm at the Cinéma Hollywood in Montreux. The screening will be followed by a discussion about the film.

This is also an opportunity to discover the exhibition ‘In the footsteps of the Strawinsky family in Montreux’ at the library, presented by the Montreux Archives.

Exhibitions

Solo exhibition “Théodore Strawinsky – Un clavier de couleurs” at the Villa “Le Lac” Le Corbusier (Corseaux, Switzerland). From 27 June to 28 September 2025, extended until 2 November 2025. Exhibition curator: Patrick Moser.

Participation in the group exhibition « European Realities : Realism Movements of the 1920s and 1930s in Europe », Museum Gunzenhauser (Chemnitz, Germany) with the  the loan of a work by Théodore Strawinsky La Famille. From 27 April to 10 August 2025.

Prize Théodore Strawinsky 2025

The Prize has been awarded on June 26th, 2025, within the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design of Geneva. The Fondation is happy to announce that the winner is Julie RICHARD.

Eglise du Sacré-Coeur, Geneva

November 2022. The Fondation Théodore Strawinsky has decided to fund the entire restoration work on the Saint Germain painting, which was damaged following the fire at the Sacré-Coeur church in 2018. (more info)

April-May 2024. The artwork has been restored to its original beauty following the conservation-restoration treatment carried out by Sinopie.

The mosaic La Banque, la Fortune

The mosaic realized for the UBS in their building of the Rue du Rhône in Geneva, detached and stored in 2012 during the works of transformation, was handed in donation to the Foundation in 2014. Thanks to the endless efforts of Yvan Lalanne-Berdouticq and the support of Olivier Frérot and Thierry Magnin, of the Fondation Le Cèdre (Alexander Carswell and Elias Kulukundis) and the skills of Michel Patrizio and his team (Marie-Laure Besson and Julian Modica), the mosaic has found a new place into the new Campus Saint Paul of the Lyon Catholic University in 2016.
